Managing through Collective Challenges & Opportunities
May 7, 2024 – May 8, 2024
Hotel Grand Pacific, Victoria
Canada is a trading nation that relies on its abundance of natural resources and ability to move our goods to market promptly and predictably. As our transportation systems improve, so does our economic prosperity. Unfortunately, the reverse is also true.
Transportation is the most critical component of global supply chains—and one of the most complex. The Spring Member Forum will focus on the current macro issues disrupting global supply chains and their impact on Canada. WESTAC members will provide insights on how operations will be affected in the short term due to ongoing collective challenges disrupting trade routes. They will also look ahead at what is in store for their sector over the long term.

The Spring Member Forum will kick off with an address by Peter Tirschwell, Vice President, Maritime, Trade & Supply Chain, S&P Global Market Intelligence, who will provide his perspective on how the world views Canada as a trading nation.
