The Port of Prince Rupert provides shippers with unparalleled speed, reliability, and reach in moving their cargo between Asian and North American markets. Prince Rupert offers four world-class cargo terminals: Fairview Terminal, a dedicated intermodal container facility; Prince Rupert Grain, which handles agricultural products; Ridley Terminals, a coal, petroleum coke and other bulk commodity facility; and Westview Terminal, the first purpose-built wood pellet export facility in Canada. The Port of Prince Rupert offers transpacific sailing times up to three days faster than other West Coast ports, and uncongested rail connection on CN's mainline to major North American markets. Future plans include an expansion of Fairview Terminal to increase capacity to two million TEUs, and the development of new bulk terminals and infrastructure at the Ridley Island Industrial Site.
