The British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) is a multi-employer waterfront organization, representing 49 ship owners and agents, stevedores, container, cruise ship, bulk and break bulk terminal operators in the Asia Pacific Gateway.

The BCMEA is a service provider of labour relations for waterfront employers. The association oversees the training, recruitment and dispatch of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU). The BCMEA advocates on behalf of Members for legislative and regulatory reform on issues affecting labour reliability in the transportation supply chain. The Asia Pacific Gateway contributes over $12 billion to Canada's GDP, and more than 129,500 direct and indirect jobs.
