WESTAC seeks a balanced membership representing all system participants in Western Canadian transportation.

The Board of Directors establishes membership priorities and reviews all membership applications for approval. The Board considers each application on its own merits. In doing so, it is guided by four considerations. Member organizations must:

• be active participants in the Western Canadian transportation system and concerned with the region’s
   economic well-being;
• be represented by a senior official of their organization;
• be willing and able to contribute to a strategic dialogue; and
• subscribe to the goals, objectives and philosophy of the Council.
